Privacy
When a user who has Flash Player installed on his or her computer is online, the Flash Player application continuously interacts with websites containing Flash content which are being visited by the surfer. Under these circumstances , the user's internet privacy may be compromised , without the user's knowledge.
The default settings of Flash Player allow small, invisible tracking files called Persistent Identification Elements or Local Shared Objects (.sol) files which are stored on the hard disk of the local computer. These files are similar to cookies and may send sensitive personal data about a user from the hard disk to a third party, without the user's knowledge.
Flash player is also capable of accessing and retrieving any audio and video data from any microphones and webcams which may be connected to the user's computer and transmit the same in real time over the internet. This can be done without the user's knowledge and can be only disabled from Adobe's website.
